haha Thanks. I live in Manchester, UK, but that was taken about 40mins/1hour drive out of the city. I'm quite lucky actually, there are good landscape locations within a couple of hours drive in most directions from Manchester. The Lake District, about 2 hours north, is amazing:

I like your submission! Can't wait to see them all together. I haven't thought much about it yet, but am going out a bit more this coming weekend to shoot. Hopefully will get it done then.

I think I have done mine for the project. Are we just showing them as we do them?

We could show them, then when everyone has done do a post with them all in? I haven't done mine yet... been thinking about it though. I'm in London next week so should be lots to shoot then.

I'm in North Wales at the moment visiting my Dad. The scenery here is pretttty cool:

I would like to see a few of those in black and white. I think they would work really well.

OK then here is my entry for the project:

Niceee! Took me a couple of seconds to notice the double exposure... one seems a lot bolder than the other which is cool. Really interesting shot.
Can't wait to see a few more and compare them...

I must let it be known this is a digital shot. I did shoot it like I would of shot a double exposure on film(one after the other) but had to put them together in photoshop (just laid them straight over each no lining up or anything) Don't want any confusion.

That's cool. Looks very film-like. My old Panasonic LX3 point & shoot camera had a built in double exposure mode which was quite fun.

I just went to some lighthouse, then it pissed it down:

Having some blue sky for a change was a real treat for getting out and about. Guess it's back grey skies now though

Aye aye. I'm still here but haven't been posting much as things have been a bit hectic for me lately.

I'll try to get in on the monthly photo thing ASAP. Personally I think there should be a separate thread for each theme as I think the submissions will get lost in this thread and others would get lost in an ongoing 'monthly theme' thread by the time we're onto the third month or whatever.

I missed the remit.

I shall now give it some thought, and hopefully somehting fitting and groovy will just pop up in front of me.

When's submission close, and are we have a new thread to post in?

I accidentally broke a lens filter and need to buy a replacement. It was a Neewer 67mm UV filter. I had a quick look online but I've no idea what this sort of thing should cost. Is this a good deal for three different filters? Is it worth buying the set of three or are the other two not all that useful?

I don't really use filters. And don't massively understand the less common ones...even after looking up what they are supposed to do. With digital you can do most the things that filters were supposed to do with film cameras in processing.
That being said that doesn't seem like a huge price for the three so it may be worth a go to try them.

I'm reading an old book on indoor photography and it goes on at length about different colored filters for use with different lighting to sort out white balance problems with film...it is tedious!

I've been in London this last week doing an internship. I was hoping to get out and take loads of photos but in the evenings I've just been too knackered (I'm not used to doing a 9-5, I'm a student). Pretty much the only photos I've taken have been just walking too and from the workplace. Here's a few I like though:
