Word Mike. It's pretty much a no-brainer going forward.

They need fur, like the this thread title or the fOXX Tone Machine

I dun an Os Mutantes fuzz as a custom job because I was curious. Turned-out pretty nice. I especially admire the low parts count fact that the notes don't get lost in the fuzz mire.

Nice !!
Can you do a faithful (soundwise) Univox Superfuzz clone ?

Yes I've got the boards here for the Superfuzz (FY-6) and Companion FY-2 in-one-pedal dealio I hope to start selling soon. My two hold-ups are:
1) My prototype got lost in the post on the way to Christian for a demoing, so I need to build another so people don't have to trust me when I say "it sounds good, honest".
2) The metal workshop who are CNCing the nice sloping enclosures for me are busy making huge metal planters for some garden in Islington this week, but assure me they'll be ready next week.

Oh and your mate from PedalsnPickups got in touch, cheers for mentioning my pedals to him. I hope we can work something out.

Nice one Tim, I mentioned that you may get in touch, and his response was that he was planning to get in touch with you already... haha...and he says he likes your band.
I would be keen on single super fuzz in due course, but in no rush... and have zero cash at the moment. But it's a definite for a later date.

Soup Studio, this really good recording studio now based in Limehouse but used to be under the Duke of Uke shop, where Sailplanes have recorded a few times, have kindly bought a whole bunch of Fredric Effects. Now visiting bands can check them out n'stuff.
So here we are. Missing a few pedals including the Dresden Synth Fuzz, but that'll join the rest before delivery.
I got some nice Danish teak chairs off ebay. May have to re-cover them

Yeah the soup studios guys are cool, Darren Hayman (also can be seen at the duke of uke a lot) recommended them to me before I left London, we were going to hang out but it never happened in the end. Since I've had orders from two other studios though

Not often I get to demo a bunch of Fredric Effects pedals at once, so it was nice to play on the Soup Studio board today prior to the handover. In the end I made two demos- one at home and another when I got to the studio (that one coming soon).

Weasel Stomp (Systech Harmonic Energizers with other stuff in there) pedals are now back in stock, thanks to some new circuit boards:

It's all the good bits from the Harmonic Energizer in a small box. I left out the buffers and altered the gain, moved the bandwidth control to a trimmer (because really you don't fiddle with this much) and added a master volume control. Now it's a handy frequency booster in a small box, which can sound nice or nasty and lo-fi.

Thought it might be somethign like that with the name of "Pocket Weasel" and the control labels and as you say the "Bandwith" control on a HE, I find hardly does anything noticable.
Sounds good - don't need any beta testers do you lol

Oh I'm looking forward to seeing how the pocket weasel turns out.

Me too! Got the enclosures at the paint shop and the final boards on order, so I should have the first pedal in a few weeks.
In Super Unpleasant Companion news, I build one with discrete transistors rather than arrays and it sounds brill. It's the one on the red board:

The Super Unpleasant Companion demo!
I've got three of this pre-production (actually identical to the production pedal) available, and they're £130 each.
