"allegedly"....you're so wrapped up in the promise of cheap functional pedals that you outright DENY a TRUE STORY.

I love how nobody around here treats anyones opinions with respect. This isn't a WIN LOSE discussion. Stop making this into a war.

If someone hates on something I like because their's broke, it's just a matter of "mine didn't, thanks for the warning though"

I hope you two rework your conversational abilities.

I'm also convinced that Hurb works for Behringer.
You're spouting utter shit...and people are not aloud to counter that? check what you have posted and then what I have, your is full of rumour and second hand stories. mine are based on first hand experience with pedals that I own or have owned which is after all what this is about not mixers or speakers(even though you have said you liked there cab you owned)

you're talking bullshit like its gospel, that's what I have a problem with. I didn't like the sound of the this or that pedal is an opinion, I have no problem with that. A whole company sucks because you had a problem with one pedal is not an opinion, its internet hooha...well it is still an opinion, its just a bullshit one that you back with backtracking and hearsay. and I blow it out the water with cold facts.

plastic knobs in things break (I have never seen it but its true!)

And yeah it probably does sound like I work for behringer, I sing there praises because I think they rule. just like I sing the praises of jaguars jazzmaster etc

Opinion is one thing, spreading the internet mojo arrows is not on. this isn't thegearpage.

and I'm conversing just fine thanks.

I'm not in the mood for an argument.

Hooha is hooha internet or not. And there's ways of taking things with a grain of salt to be civil. I guess in real life people are just friendlier to each other. I may have a difficult opinion, but there's ways of confronting people's opinions without stirring hate.

I'm just kind of hurt at the way I got treated in this thread, by people who I thought were my buddies. I guess having one pedal break on me, as well as a mixer, and seeing other products made by them returned or defective frequently at my shop has no validity in the other pedals they make. I never said the whole company is terrible. Read my post again, I mentioned the cab i had that worked fine for years. And customers who've testified personally that the same mixer I had break in a year worked great for them. I'm sorry if I came off as a snob, but the gist of it was, I've seen mixed things, both good and bad, and because I had a defective one that was broken out of the box, I wouldn't recommend them to anyone personally. Sorry if it didn't come across that way.

You lose.

Oh yeah and because you're going to play this card out every time my name comes up again, I'll do this for you.

Although I may come across aggressive, I'm really not nick. I believe you were the one bringing shit into this "I stole your ps-3 pedal THERE" or words to that effect
(for those not in the know, twisted justin put his ps-3 up for sale in the classifieds I said I would buy it we agreed a price. then justin went about searching for shipping costs. weeks passed justin got back to me saying he was mad busy but he would sort it. me being not that fussed just said cool theres no hurry. somewhere in this time frame justin sold it to his good buddy nick, and then nick weeks later gloated in this thread to try and piss me off I guess? :?  )
So yeah even though it was you that went for the balls nick, here I am trying to stop you making a youtube video calling me a bastard and saying fuck you hurb!! while making a pizza.
So yeah sorry I bruised your peach.
but you're still wrong about behringer hahaha!

I would hardly call it going for the balls nick. I'm a reverse snob. I still think you talked shit..maybe that doesn't translate well..but to me it just means I think you're talking nonsense(which I do)
Anyway did you check the little shitty demo I did of the delay? sound wise what do you think? I would be interested in what you think.

thats why i brought the boss RT-20, for that badge sound and for while my guitar gently weeps instead of carting my leslie around. i love Leslies.

Hurb: It sounds good...Digital Delay tonewise isn't anything I could be "snobby" about, it all generally sounds the same to me. As long as the pedal's holding up for you and you're comfortable using it then it definitely sounds the part.

I feel bad for bringing up the PS-3 like that, it was a lame instinctive comeback. It wasn't exactly like I offered Justin more or begged him for it or anything. He basically im'd me one day, saying he hadn't talked to you in quite a while and that he didn't really like the board anymore and didn't want anything to do with it, and he didn't feel like being arsed shipping the pedal internationally. If I didn't buy it it was going on ebay or craigslist.

I really don't care though enjoy it. there dope pedals, and I suspected anyway. You did me a favour Nick, I don't want justin to have my address and stuff.

nick, i'm sorry if i offended you.

yeh my tone was pretty aggressive, but it just reflected how strongly disagreed with your point. if, however, you dont like Behringer products thats cool, you're entitled to your opinion.

Now come on guys, no more arguements - pleease?

No it's not, stop talking shit. we had this conversation before and you couldn't come up with a valid point or reason for your blatant snobism. oh sorry, apart from your one pedal not working properly that one time.
I'm all for opinions on gear, but snobs get about as much respect as mojo hounds from me.
I stole your PS-3 from twisted justin.

THERE.
What the fuck is that supposed to mean?

So, been playing with these pedals alot since they arrived and they're really good. Tonecore sounddock casing is insanely heavy (too heavy!) and study, but the knobs and modules feel fragile. love the footswitch (soft press for tap tempo, hard press for pedal on/off), and how easy it is to change modules. Anyway:

Liqu-Flange: crazy number of settings; actually maybe too many, its pretty confusing for a flanger. lots of nice sounds; can go from fairly subtle to spaceship noises. also does a decent impression of a phaser or chorus. v versatile modulator, hurb would like this one.

Dr Distorto: this pedal is rubbish. The distortion sounds decent, but the feedback effect is terrible; really fake synthy sounding and doesn't work half the time! also it misfires a lot, creating random notes going all over the place. could be cool for random noise - i need to play with it more. guess it was worth £10.

Space Chorus: best module out of the lost; bloody nice chorus, can go from sutble shimmer to "come as you are". This is an absolute keeper! Has a setting that emulates Roland SDD-320 Dimension D - need to experiment with that setting, sounds pretty crazy. Vibrato i have no use for, so meh.

No hum or noise, though there is a definite change in tone when the pedal is in my chain. not too bad but its there.

Update:

the tonecore pedal were b-grade and came without the screws that hold the modules. Just phoned line 6 UK service centre, and theyve popped some screws in the post to me free of charge.

Not a big deal but them seemed v friendly there - A+ customer service.
