I'm sure it'll be something simple/silly mate. it always is.
After finishing the super fuzz with that complicated layout I designed I built my tremelo onto strip with a layout I knocked up and refined this week. The LFO isn't oscillating - after an hour of staring at the board I realised one of the electrolytics in teh oscillator is backwards. Idiot.
I'll fix it Sunday.

I'll be honest, the Harmonic Percolator didn't work first time. The first time I tested it I had forgot to put the transistors into the sockets
So far all my mistakes have been very simple things, andI know I'd be making less of them if I was using one of those helping hands things, so I'llbe getting one on my next banzai order.
Actually I was going to say, did you know you can buy electro harmonix switches for $4.00? and RoHS compliant EH ones for $4.50? I have no idea what RoHS is but damn that's cheap.

Shipping made it work out the same as the Banzai price when I did dummy orders for the same parts on both. If I end up getting seriously into this I'll be tempted to buy a load from there (a few other things are cheap too) and get enouh to make the shipping cost efficient.

They are technically not allowed to sell the non RoHS ones to the EU.
RoHS stand for reduction of hazard substances or something.

Thanks for the link. I buy the Banzai ones though, when you're making the pedal for someone else I want the highest quality.

Banzai has there own brand? These look the same as every switch I've seen.

They're completely different, much better quality.

I got Banzai switches for this batch of products and they are brilliant. Very expensive but worth the extra I suppose.

I can't see spending more than $5 on a true-bypass switch, paying more is Memory Lane pedal territory.

Like I said - it's about the fact I build and sell to others. I use only the best.
If I was just building for myself I might use cheaper stuff as I know I could fix it if it went wrong.
