Just normal nitro clear from manchester guitar tech. Although I know for a fact there are places where there wont be any clear on as I sanded through it. you cant see any difference though. I only wet sanded up to 1500 as thats as high as you go in this country unless you order it online at a special shop.
Most important thing I have found is this polish

T-cut colour fast. the more you use it the better, and although it's t-cut it doesn't actually remove any paint. awesome stuff.

Its the same stuff that gets recommended for getting rid of surface scratches in guitars.

Nice.

I used the pic of all your guitars to spring a pop test on my girlfriend (I'm trying to educate her). She correctly identified the Jaguars and Jazzmaster, and was able to discuss the key differences (good girl). She obviously didn't know what the Faux XII was, but when I asked her what type of bridge was on it, she tentativley answered: "is it a Floyd Rose?"

Lots more work to do.

That's pretty damn good. All I get are adjectives.

The Mustang RI in Daphne Blue was "Cute".

The Jaguar is "switchy"

You've married her though, so there's no incentive to learn about this stuff. If we ever get married, there'll be a final exam on the night before the wedding. Plus, she'll have to finance three guitars for every child she wants me to give her.
