i agree. and the name is dumb, but at least it stands for something real (MOnoPHOnic).

i was thinking id get one and paint/relabel the case, if it really bothered me. then it would be just this weird noisy box. probably not worth it tho. and it would ruin the resale $$.

Yeah but I wouldn't like looking at it all the time, that's what I meant.

But honestly these are probably gonna be $200-250 used. That's kind of a no brainer, even with the ugly graphics, i'd check it out.

Jcyphe has about 10 pointey BC RICH warlocks and doesn't want to talk about them because Icebytes will track him down.

Thats the exact model i had! I paid like £40, they are going for £150+ now. It was a heavy thing but great sounds, monophonic though. I remember the 'wind' sounding effect, i used to leave that on hold and play Hawkwind riffs

get your 'silver machine' going, haha. my mate used to use two of them in his old band, he seemed to be able to tame them. i could only ever get them to burble and click a bit. temperamental things.

I actually paid 15 dollars for it, had it fixed for 20 since some keys didn't work...we usually sample stuff out of it since we cannot save sounds and it's not midi....
