See now if I had infinite money, I'd do the same with pretty much everything I buy and keep it packaged up, apart from food. I'd love to have a big warehouse so I didn't have to throw shit away.

Very simple.
The second one is stashed unplayed in a guitar case. I am creating an "under the bed" guitar.
It will stay there, years and many, many years.
DONT DO IT!! LOL. I have 4 under my bed, in fact they are all over the house. It becomes a disorder and before you know it you'll have two of everything: one to gig, one to polish.

How many beds do you have?

It's hilarious there is a picture of it under the bed.
I would remove the sticker, if you leave it for years it will never come off.

Vintage Mojo Market.
That sticker's going to add a grand to the value one day.

Squier goes in and out of making desirable guitars. They will stop making the CV line, when somebody realizes its too good a value for the money. They did it with the Japanese Squiers, The ProTone series and such.
Then you'll be back to Indonesian Strats with ugly clunky tuners, yucky neck finishes, and just max cheese all around.
If you like that style of guitar I say grab a couple.

Its got to that point where guitars are excellent investments and if the market goes up this year like they have predicted they will be even more so. A retailer told me Fender and Squier are going up 25% and BC Rich high end 100%
I bought my Fender Toronado 2 years ago for £120, they are going at £399 on ebay at the moment if you are lucky enough to find one. That is one of the reasons i retired it to the case and started using the PRS.

I don't care.
By the time this guitar surfaces I won't be there.
A. It stays with my son (17 y.o.)
B. I'll be emigrated to Japan (soon)
C. I won't be alive anymore.
This is no joke, I did this for my son. I told him to take care of the Guitar and keep it.
Should anything happen to him, my daughters are there to take over.

do you really think it'll be worth that much though? I mean surely it will go up but even JV Squiers (which are something like 27 years old at this point) still go for less than $1000. also antique markets go up and down. vintage car prices sky rocketed in the 80s and 90s and now have settled to average prices. my dad's 1928 buick that he's fully restored is only worth like 20-something grand. with inflation I think it's worth maybe about twice as much as it cost new 80 years ago.

Its crazy. I remember Cyclones and Toronados being a cheaper substitute for Mustangs and Jags, based roughly on looks, but now they are equally priced if not more.

Fuck.
I was hoping it was the crap Cyclone and not the fit as fuck Cyclone. A Jag or Mustang Trem on that and it would be complete boner town

Great collection Geisha! Looks like you have the bug worse than me (21 guitars and growing). Most of mine have been project guitars so the cost isn't to bad. I like the one image collage, I'll have to do that. I keep a website for gear
