Isn't 'CBL' cobalt blue? The 66 ri mustang came ine Cobalt Blue.

I thought that, but then cobalt blue is this sort of colour.



I guess Fender aren't too accurate with a lot of their names, though.

It's California Blue and Rebole Yellow.

I just checked the chart and there is already a Cobalt Blue and the Squier Cyclone came in it.

That's quite out of date now. I've done a fair few more.

So I'm going to add in what I have extra and make a list of what is known about but needs researching. I think a lot of the hesitance to get started with the research (on my part as well as other forum members) is knowing what to try and find. Every now and then I'll go through the Fender/Squier/Custom Shop sites and occasionally get a new stock image, but it's the older colours that are the bastards to find.

I found a great site for these weird Japan colours.

Adding these now using those initials instead of the number code. I think most of them have images available at Fender Japan. At the moment I'm just creating the text buttons and the movieclips to drop the proper images into.

I'm considering having a few buttons like 'all' 'blue' 'burst' 'red' and you can click those to just show a selection of the colours. I think it should be doable it will just take a bit of work to get sorted. Does that sound like a worthwhile feature?
