All this stuff looks awesome. I paricularly like the fact that you can 'lock' the phase on the Telstar.

Here, I've been noseying on your website, what's the difference between the normal Harmonic Percolator and the Utility Perkolator?

Here's a pic of the gizzards of these. It's the same circuit and the same board, except the UP (left) uses Russian new old stock MP16B germanium and ST3904 silicon transistors and cheapo ceramic disc capacitors. The HP clone uses NOS 2N404A and 2N3565 transistors with poly caps. The UP sounds slightly fuzzier and gainier. I should probably demo this at some point!

Thanks very much! Yes, expression out is a natural for this effect (I used to love using an expression pedal on the frequency with a Moogerfooger ring mod). Only issue is space for the jack.

I'll demo the UP 'soon'. I can guarantee the difference between this and the HP will be almost indistinguishable, especially recorded with the camera mic.

Oh yeah I'm a bit late to the game with this one, but...

If you've bought a fredric effect in the past pls write something honest/nice about it. I want to put together a page of testimonials. If you've a band or personal music myspace (even if you don't use my pedal on it) please let me know and I'll link you up.

Those caps on the right look nice. What would they taste like?

The poly caps like aniseed balls, the ceramics like Victory Vs. Chalky, very much an acquired taste.
