Pedal pimp reminds me of John Goodman.
Sounds like he's having sex whilst playing too.

That's why I dig'em so much. It wouldn't be the same if Johnny was pulling spiffy licks out of his ass...they were the average man's type of shit. Made you feel like you could play music too.

This is also why I love AC/DC. The formula just worked.

actually. it was the Ramones shirt that was his saving grace. IMO...
Haaa...right on. I think I'm rocking a flannel (in fabric not pattern) and Clash shirt in my avatar

I have a very deep love for flannel. It keeps me warm.
but wearing it open like that? if you were concerned w/ warmth you wouldn't wear it open. (& you'd also wear a sweater over it...)

but yeah i am not the fashion police. i am just giving y'all yet another reason to level ad hominem attacks & mudslinging at me. so fine, par for the course...

now that Clash. now were talking!!! i actually OWN Clash records & tapes...
Yah, I actully could give a shit what people think of what I wear and I wasn't trying to mess with you or anything....just interested in what you had to say about the shirt/ramones thing.

I hate the Clash. I liked their politics etc, but the music is just garbage.

Clash are harder to identify with for myself than with the Ramones for sure (for me at least).

no-one called you any of those those things, people called you our for what you were doing and you defaulted to that piss weak defense.

you got accussed of cuntery, but that's not calling you a cunt, just saying you're acting like one.

It's hard for me to define where they are in my musical hierarchy since my taste are so widespread... but I definitely think they are hugely important.

They were known as "the only band that matters" for a reason.

Do you remember what drew you to them?

I was thinking back and I remember they were on the demo disc of the SEGA CD I got when I was a kid and I wore the shit out of it listening to I fought the law. Such good memories of that demo disc.
