It's not more dangerous than skiing. Not if you don't ride like a knob and remain vigilant to your own safety. It's a different experience of transportation where you are part of the vehicle, you can't zone out and auto-pilot like you can in a car. Bikes are stimulating in a way I can barely describe.

Then again, I've seen how you Irish drive, so yeah... in your case it's alot more dangerous.

Definitely. Prognosis is that it intonates well enough and plays well enough. You could say "yeah but I bet the clean sounds terrible - he's hiding something" But it IS a metal guitar and for all intents and purposes the thing works and tunes up.

Seems to be not a lot of sustain evidently around the 36 second mark where he hangs on that one note and it dies very quickly for that level of gain on a tune o matic. Also doesn't seem to be adequately earthed for a bucking guitar as there is a bit of hum but that could be down to the room or amp or whatever, and also the ridiculous gain. Whatever, there's no point being that critical about a guitar a 15 year old made without proper tools, templates etc as their first build. For what it is I think he's done good.

Getting the flashy stuff down so it's tight takes years of practise. I can do it, but it's dead sloppy, which I sort of like.

What I was impressed with was the rhythm stuff towards the end. That's a lot more useful.

Each to their own. I don't really care except when somone has a go on my guitar and noodles the fuck out of it and taps it and shit. It's tantamount to guitar rape.

All that shred stuff is Sith guitar most of the time. Demonstrating your power over the song rather than working for the greater good of it like a Jedi would. Yeah it's impressive but deep down it's evil power mongering and has no respect for the balance of the force.

It is fairly embarrassing but I love those early Megadeth albums and that song is brilliant. He didn't do it any justice though and didn't do anything particularly difficult like Mike says.

The only Megadeth album I've heard or like is Youthanasia because it's quite poppy.

Megadeath still sucks and McClownshoe is still as his name suggests.

It is how ever very upsetting that he is so much more talented than me.

Tastes aside, Mustaine stuff is quite difficult to play- even badly.

I have to agree with Jimmy on this, the guitar has the right tone and appears to intonate well so i think he did well. He is a nice little player too, i wish i could have played like that at 15.

yeah, i mean he's already surpassed me in the widdly-widdly category...not that i want to play liek that, but i rec'nize the skillz it takes to pull that shit off though.
