see, i've never really listened to their records much, but i've seen them live and they sounded like this:

which sounds nothing like their recorded output. i suppose the singing on the records is pretty clean by comparison.

Lol, you can't hear his fake American accent when they play live 'cause you can't make out a word of what he's saying. "OooWahtoo Chayngararapahhwn Asomthinboonachew a sewthum daaaawn!"
Put some bloody clothes on, eh? I hate playing guitar with no top on 'cause my guitar gets sweaty and sticks to my belly.

Now that I like. So he is a capable vocalist, why not put that same passion and urgency on the album?

It's all cold at first too. As for Biffy, I find them terribly bland. Scottish Feeder imo.

Oh come on, he's got some good riffs going, not the boring shite Feeder do.
Feeder are possibly the blandest band in the entire world. If they were crisps they'd be salt n' shake without the salt.

Feeder have better vocal hooklines imo. But they're welsh.

Maybe Scottish Feeder is a bit harsh, but as for their riffs etc, they just sound too forced and don't interest me.

just looked up feeder. This biffy band has infinitely better guitar work and song arrangement. Wouldn't listen to either of them though, I prefer more tea in my tea.

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU
I wish i held off buying the wilshire. Fiesta red strats are fucking lush and i would imagine it'll be priced reasonably.
As for Biffy, i don't care much for their newest stuff but infinity land and puzzle are mint.

Scottish Feeder.
Yet more complete claptrap talked in this thread. If you actually listedn to the songs linked with an open mind there is no way you could have made such an inaccurate comparison.
BRB off to delete shortscale, Blane style.

Biffy have been growing on me for the last couple of years. I used to HATE Living is a Problem because it was overplayed and his voice annoyed me. Then I got over it and realised they're awesome. Then I saw them live and it was intense as fuck, so the realisation increased. Awesome. Now their new stuff sounds even more fantastic (both meanings, The Captain is so bizarre). I saw them live a second time too, and the whole band was just wearing turquoise skinny jeans (even the podgy members of the band). It was clearly slightly tongue in cheek, but amusing nonetheless.
So yeah, nice guitar, would buy.

they're a good band, bit overproduced and over-hyped. and what the fuck is it with those tight jeans.
