nah, next march (the date of the alleged second shipment) seems like about the time I'll be looking for a new guitar.

I'm thinking it's reflection, but if that neck is bound... there's nothing I can do to stop myself from buying one.

THey have orange ones too! I have a 66 tele neck that I've been waiting to use for something... Orange telemaster style body would be perfect! Orange!

My girlfriend has never so strongly encouraged me to buy a guitar...

I hate it that now that I don't really want a cheap jazzmaster copy in a pretty color combo, everyone and their cousin makes one.

If they made a cheap 12 string jazzy I'd replace my danophobe with it until I can afford a ric. Otherwise I'll just secretly want one of those telemasters while I wait for some hands on reviews. CAN NOT HAS MOAR GUITARS THO ARRGHGHH

Man, I would love to see a 12 string version of that telemaster thing. If the neck pocket is standard size, I'm going to be very tempted to attempt to convert one using a Warmoth neck.

you guys and your 12 strings, I can't even figure out how to use the 6 I've already got. 6 more!?!? I'd be fucked.

12s are great for lush chording. They're not hard to play if they're good guitars.

At the risk of sounding like the noob that I am...

How do you play them? Do you play two strings as one and chord normally or do you actually fret each string?

You play the two strings together as if they were one. It feels a little funny the first few times you play one, but you get used to it. They're the biggest pain in the ass for tuning, though. Super light strings + my heavy hand = tuning every 5 minutes.

Yup, as you first stated, your finger will naturally fret both strings on the same fret.
