Will have:
Mascis Jazzy
Gunmetal Page Hamilton ESP
Eastwood Ichiban
Blue Sparkle Supersonic
Venus XII
Will have in near future:
TV Yellow LP jr.
agile Bass VI clone thingy
Xaviere Telemaster
And the Eastwood is shit concept is just wrong. They may be a bit overpriced new, but they are quality instruments. The second hand prices are very fair considering the build quality you get. My Hi-flier is beautiful, has performed flawlessly and is a pleasure to play. I wouldn't be selling it if my P-90stang and my M-80 didn't demand so much of my play time.

To be honest, there are quite a few guitars out there that I really would like to own, play and fuck.
I'd love an Italia or two, a DiPinto, etc. I'm finding it hard to come to specifics, though, because what I really wanted, ever since I started playing, was a Jaguar, and now I have one. Most of the other guitars I ever desired grew out of my love of Jaguars, so now that I have one I'm having to adjust my whole acquisition plans for the future.
Also just realised: I now own a Fender again.

Them thar Imola's are going cheap on 'bay, they have like 57 different settings or something ridiculous. Goddamn tempting at £199 from £375.

Never been excited much by the Imolas. My Batwing has seven different sounds, and that's about 5 more than I ever use (I don't think I've ever even used the neck pickup. Ever). I'd want one of the crazy pearloid covered ones or the acrylic-topped hollow Les Paul-styled twin humbucker ones (which also have a piezo output).

I've been thinking of saving up for one of these:

I'd swap the PG off for a b/w/b guard though.

CV Jazz Bass? The pickguard is so heinous in person, that picture is way flattering.

This.
I'm going to have to +1 this statement as well.
A few years ago, I bought a black Korean Stormbird off the back of a dirty tour van for $200. I honestly would have said that it played and sounded fantastic, had I spent double that amount. The only reason I don't still have it now is because of it's lack of contours, which sadly is very incompatible with my mini wuss wrists.

Compstang (unrefinished i like LPB)

Aye. The PG is pretty gross but it doesn't bother me. An example of the shitty tort.
I'm going for the black PG because of this
James, They're around £250 new.

There's a chance I'll be selling my Japanese Squier for somewhere around that sort of range. It's an early 90s Silver Series. You probably had a bash on it at Doogfest III.
I have a bit of a dilema as I love it (it's probably my favourite guitar purchase, it's either that or the ES175 copy) but I can't decide if it will be worth paying to take it to america. If I don't I'll be using the money from it's sale to buy another, similar bass or towards building a parts Jazz Bass once I get there.
I can't decide if I should pay to take it as an extra item (I currently only have a gig bag and I'll already be taking the rob(og) guitar so I doubt that will happen), take the neck off and pack it in a bag (what I've been leaning towards so far) or sell it and buy something similar. Anyway, it's something that might be for sale late summer but I can't say for sure yet.
I'm going to make a thread shortly letting people take early dibs on things they might want, as I'm going to have to get rid of a lot of stuff.
I couldn't see another pic in my photobucket account, but at the moment it has a black pickguard and bridge and pickup covers on.
I've played the CV Jazz Bass and it's not bad, quite a good deal for the money. I'd certainly buy one over an MIM

It's a great bass. If it had been for sale when I bought my bass I would have bought it, but as it is I'm happy with what I have I think.

Yeah, it had the nice slick flatwounds. I had it going through the musicmaster amp with a fuzzface, it sounded fucking amazing. I can't call really early dibs at the moment I'm afraid, I'm not 100% certain i could gather all the funds in time. When you moving stateside btw?

I like the Mark Hoppus bass's. Is that a new one? I've never seen white w/black pickguard.
I saw these new versions which i thought fender were releasing in the near future:
New finishes, reversed pickup.
