"Triplo"s live debut, finish off our set last night!

Sound is a bit weedy, the camera didn't manage to pick my LOW END. It picked up the hugely loud vocals though, especially the parts I sing very badly.
James IS playing drums, despite what it looks like. We think he may actually be a vampire; not visible on film.

it sounded better than that in the room. vocals sat nicely and there was no shortage of BASSINTHEFACE. and you could see the drummer.

I was asked to knock up an acoustic tune on video for instereo's first webisode, so I bashed out the new Doog tune at home which I demoed here a while back, but pulled down in a fit of odd paranoia.
It's unlisted on Youtube (not findable without the link) because I didn't wanna spread their material around before they've actually had a chance to do their own edit of the footage and get it out there, but just for you guys..
Watch in terror as I struggle against a sky-high action on a flatmate's cheap Hofner! Cringe as I miss chords because of the crappy headstock-strap bullshit! Feel uncomfortable as my lyrics get more and more personal! Wonder if I ever wear a different t-shirt!
I normally hate doing solo acoustic things because I don't reckon my songs ever work in that context, but this was a rare enjoyment for me.. hence my over-excitable spreading around of it.
Here's the ROCK version again, now with added Mellotron.
man i think this sounds brilliant.
can't listen to the rock version on my office's computer, but the acoustic one totally rocks.

Both are soooo good, and you're a better man than I for pulling of a good single taker like that with the multi-angle! Might as well mention that half around the globe, teh rock version is getting extra airplay in our late-working office tonight!
I think I'm regretfully vibing with that "fountain of youth" bit. I think.

nice work doog, the acoustic version and some of your vocal inflections give it a taste of early 70s bowie which is brilliant in my book.

So here's video evidence of one of the shakiest gigs we're ever done, spot the edit in the 4th song if you can, hahaha. Fun, none-the-less though, even if the video audio is quite changeable.

HOLY SHIT, CASA BONITA GO (KINDA) POP?!
I think this is going to be The Single from the EP we've been working on. Gonna record this first before the other tracks, shoot a video and everything. DO AN EXCITE.
It's about time you grew a spine
trade your sap in for turpentine
Tap into that afterglow
Before the ache sets in
I'm a friend with benefits
Made of the thickest skin
Tap into the novelty:
You're a stranger here
You should only be concerned
With plane times and beer
You made sure you looked the part
With cheekbones standing proud
To just hide inside the clubhouse
with no girls allowed
