Anyhow yeah, the polepieces on the pickups are set up for #3. Probably'll go with that.

OK! Could some Jaguar owner or owners do this for me? Things are starting to come together.

Wait, why is there a 11 7/8"* difference between the two? Shouldn't it be 12"?
I am confuse.
* (edit: not 12 1/8" as I originally posted)

you've asked for a measurement from nut to the center of the bridge pickup, not the nut to center of the bridge, which would be a closer indication of scale length.

Nah, I want the pickup's location. The distance between the nut and the 12th fret is 12 inches, yeah?
I figured:
(bridge pickup to 12th fret) + (12th fret to nut) = (bridge pickup to nut)
Based on that, I'd expect:
10 3/4" + 12" = 22 3/4"
Instead, the measurement came out to be 22 5/8", which is 1/8" shorter than I would have expected it to be.

Improbably enough, this isn't dead!
Routing/gluing photobomb:

I've switched to a new Kahler (lol), so I changed the outline of the rout:

Here's how it looks:
![Image](http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d196/scandoslav/DuoJag%20Project/th_IMG_2675.jpg)
I bought some basswood from an art store, and used a hacksaw and 60 grit sandpaper to make the pieces to plug the trem routs:
![Image](http://i35.photobucket.com/albums/d196/scandoslav/DuoJag%20Project/th_IMG_2680.jpg)
Here they are being glued. I couldn't find suitable clamps so I used a toolbox.

After gluing:

"Apply a heavy spread of glue to surface."

Apparently basswood rips/tears if you let it. Still, it's cleaning up rather well.

I like this a lot better. The tele plate isn't doing it for me. Not horrible, but a smidge off.

No, but pretty much yes. I can't edit the poll, but I forgot one of the pics (bah). If you like this more than one you voted for, tell me I guess? This isn't an exact science...
