I got 4 hours left to go on ebay and I got one bid on the Duo Sonic for $150. Still a chance for it to up. Someone used the BuyItNow option and bought my Squier Jagmaster for $300. Didn't think that would happen but I am excited. I also got my $180 bonus from work. I will definitely have enough for the Jazzmaster if it's still there. Unfortunately the Butchered Bronco is already sold, so no project guitar :( I will be packing up both guitars tonight and getting them out first thing in the morning. Cool Beans.

The money already cleared in Paypal. I have never had that happen before. I don't have to be into work until 10:00 tomorrow so maybe.

Will Pawn shops typically hold items for you? I doubt they would I just wanted to check. I will call tomorrow to see if they still have it and try to work out a deal. Last time I got the deal to $500 with 3 trade -ins and $200 cash. I am hoping with all cash to get it down to maybe $450.

I would not be surprised if its gone, its been awhile, I bet the only way they would hold it is to pay with credit card over the phone, they deal with a lot of flakes...........best of luck

I wouldn't call $480 no real results. Way more than CL. It took a while to sell them, but now I can move forward. Tomorrow I will know if its this Jazzmaster or something else. I learned a lot at the very least.

I struck out for now. Both the J. Mascis Jazzmasters on CL are sold. Figures really. When I have money the deals are gone. I will keep hunting for now. I would also be interested in Reissue Competition Mustang or Jag-stang.

HotRod, did you ever sell your Jag-stang?

the jagstang is tied up in a deal right now, you'll all know the outcome sooner than later...

sucks, taylor. i'd hang on to that dough and find you a mascis jazz, or if you need some additional fundraising, talk to me about selling that silverface!

i'm pretty sure they're all gone. seems they've jumped off and embedded themselves in my carpet and are laying dormant until spring.

Sucks that you moved all of that and don't have anything to replace it. I would have been all over that Duo. Best of luck in your search.

Sorry about your missing out on the Mascis. Same seems to happen to me--stuff I really want pops up when I don't have money and once I do, it's gone.

I found a used Mascis JM on Guitar Center's used Gear site for $749. They had just dropped the price from $899. I called and got them down to $700, (amazed they even budged) but after tax and shipping it would be $780.00

Not sure if that's a good enough deal or not.

Thoughts?
