Do you favor neck pickups or bridge pickups?

The Fender neck position single coils in my CIJ Jaguar and AV Strat were my main squeezes for the longest time. I barely even used the other pickups in those guitars though my Jag with a JB Jr sounds really good with both pickups on. Traditionally I've preferred humbuckers in the bridge (the Burstbucker V in my LP should get honourable mention) but that has gone more of a tele bridge/p90 direction lately as I become increasingly enamored with "no-nonsense" guitars vs the "nonsense as standard" guitars of my youth.

I actually use the Rhythm circuit a fair bit to give more girth to harder/stronger parts in some of our songs. It's a great sound for solosIroniaSudby wrote:A lot of the time. I use Neck on my Jag. Ill switch it up and
use some bridge for the gain when it isn't too bright.

AVRI Jaguar - I love all the settings, though I use both pickups less that both individually. I am trying to learn some good tones for the rhythm circuit
Baja Telecaster - I like all the pickup settings both in and out of phase except the parallel out-of-phase. I like the series out-of-phase much better.
