After discovering how fun it is to use bit-crushing software on a bass track I went on a hunt for a pedal that could do the same thing...and found the Red Panda BitCrusher. Sadly they only sell the module so I'd need a Line6 Toneprint to go with it.
The Rainbow Machine sounds nuts. It has some of the lo-fi digital quirkiness of my beloved Boss PS-2 but shares the "I'd never have a practical use for this..." issue. Not that I don't want one just for the lulz though...that Robo-Tinkerbell sound is pretty unique.

There are a few oddball module things that are showing up ton the web for the line6 Toneprint things. Someone posted about a mental pitchshifter/arpeggiator a while back
I think we can add the Langtronics Bone Collector to the list of weird shit too

Has anyone else tried the Zvex instant lo-fi junky? I just got one the other day and haven't played guitar without it since. It's like a mellotron, boards of canada, black moth super rainbow, a bunch of bong resin and some nostalgia in a box. It's supposed to sound like you're playing on an old record or tape. Super dreamy and more useable/versatile than I expected. Lots O sounds in there

Now dirtcheap and little known, i did this video of the Korg AX1G multi-effects about 6 years ago. All the fun is on the sample/playback setting.
Poor quality but you can hear how ridiculous it gets.

I have one of those, and it does make some rad sounds, but it has EXTREME volume jumps. Where most of the time it's very quiet and then it will just blow your speakers. So I've only really used it for dedicated noise sessions with a borrowed compresser to (hopefully) save the speakers.
