Saw these on eBay a while back. Stupidcheap prices for handmaded pedals. THEY DO DOOOOM. I'm looking at a Tyrant because it has a similar logo to an Electric Wizard t-shirt I own.

Interesting: I perceive TC and TRex as distinctly uncool, rather like Visual Sound.

They're just pedals that I've had experience with. TC make good quality pedals, in terms of build quality and reliability. T Rex customer support is second to none. I had what I perceived to be a faulty pedal, I'd bought it 2nd/3rd hand and had no proof of purchase (obviously) so took a punt on sending them it and be willing to pay for the repair. They couldn't find an issue with it, even though I was adamant it didn't sound right, and they replaced it with a brand new model, no questions asked.

'Cool' pedal companies can fall under any number of specifics, it doesn't just have to be about the sound quality/particular effect. To me it should include build quality, customer service, value for money etc.

@ Simon - yeah, I see what you mean. I'm sure TC and Visual Sound make very well conceived and made pedals (I'm a big fan of Visual Sound stuff), it's just I don't think that was what the OP was after. He mentioned ''mindblowing''.

Here's some pedals I think are really cool:

The Danelectro pedals I have are pretty fucking cool considering how balls-cheap they are. I have the Cool Cat Fuzz V2, Chorus, & Tremolo pedals. The Cool Cat pedals are great too, the tremolo sounds very nice and at times, dreamy. It even has a trimpot inside for volume, and I cranked it, so when I turned it on, my guitar was crazy loud and fuzzed out from how much volume was going into my amp. The chorus is lush and can either be subtle or disorienting, and the fuzz is one of my favorites because it can be light, crisp, and trebly, or it can be thick and raunchy and induce feedback at unity gain.
