you would be able to use any mono cabinet that is rated for 75W and 8ohms or over using one of your channels. you can't plug into 4 ohms basically. as for DI, people use the FX Send channels instead so hands off the headphones input! plug the fx sends straight into a mixing desk and you get the full benefit but no speakers. the v2s have got XLRs on the back for dedicated line out as well - swanky. but in conclusion, you don't have to plug into any speaker or anything and it will work fine because it's digital and risk free.

as for the buzz, sorting out the cab inputs has fixed it completely. i updated the firmware anyway but i don't get any fizz, buzzing or artefacting now.

i find many of the settings to be fantastic and perfectly usable. it sounds more tubey than my 30W tube combo because you can get predictable convincing sounds at all volumes. with the eminence speakers i get plenty of heft and bass when i want it - i find that swapping cab settings is the best quick fix to make a setting sound good or make it sound more tubey.
