Oddly enough I actually like that guitar and if I hadn't recently scored a couple other guitars I might've purchased one this year. I like their non-reversed headstock firebird clone too.

I did consider looking at the real thing again (I did used to own a copy like Nick said) but I'd prefer something different and all-buckery. The Sonex 180 is pretty appealing too for some reason:

Keep an eye out for an Ovation Preacher
Stereo outputs, glued AND bolted neck, similar goofy 70s lines and highest grade workmanship for probably around the same price you'd get a Sonex for.
