It was well done too - OK the Strat neck was a little silly and spoiled an overall well put together piece (it's always good to leave out what you think is your best line as they always look shoe-horned, don't they?) but overall, much appreciated. If you don't mind though, when you do the Columbo-esque 'Just-one-more-thing' - can you give it a catchy title or something? I'd hate to miss it. Anyway, love your work man... ;)
LOL WHAT DOES THIS EVEN MEAN

It's a whole bunch of words in series that communicate no idea.
Yeah this....

Although I roughly translated it to: "oops you got me, didn't expect anyone to notice about the strat neck, nice job Columbo. But you should've stopped there because that pickguard only LOOKS shoehorned into the control plate (don't they always?) "

The comment about Tim's work may have been about his band, pedal company (both linked in his sig), or his detective skills.

But yeah word harder.

I think the stang finish is really interesting. I like. I hope this can stay in the realms of civility on both sides - I am really interested in the techniques being used for sure. I'm not trying to negate any criticisms raised, but it would be cooler for Jooky to be able to respond reasonably to reasonably worded criticisms. That's not mod-dave saying that (because I don't have that kind of authority anyway), that's I-don't-know anything-about-these-guitars-or-Jooky's-reputation-DaveShortscale saying that.. I kinda wanna know much more, as George suggested, and I think reasonably worded critiques would invite reasonable and open responses. Which would be quite cool and enriching for both sides.

Jooky how did you come up with the finish ideas? Is it something you've used in other contexts?

I thought the ' If you don't mind though, when you do the Columbo-esque 'Just-one-more-thing' - can you give it a catchy title or something?, was funny and responding to the also comments, like snark. When Colombo scratches his head and says the just one more thing question, that is always the gotcha moment. Jooky needs to stick around and poast stuff in the projects forum.

I like those relic-y ones. The finger painty ones, I do not. But the relic/steampunk hybrids are cool. Most of my stuff is starting to look that way anyhow.
