£342.10 on Thomann. Actually not a bad price. Not exactly a steal either, mind you.

Something like 330 pounds, which I think is somewhere around the $475 mark. But that is just converting the only price I saw for it which was already in pounds. It may be lower here in the US. For example the J Masics jazz master sells for 377 pounds which would translate to $540 dollars, but thats not how much they go for here. I would say it would probably cost around $400 or less.

£342 on that Thomann link.

Not sure what that would translate to in the US but it's more expensive than a VM Jaguar (about £290 over here) and less than a JM Jazzmaster (about £390).

It will cost more than the squire vintage modified telecaster special. Those went for around 275 pounds.

If you want to make your own version of that, find a telecaster in the color of your choice and use this novak jazz master pickup that fits a single coil telecaster route:

I like the white model, but already got something very similar.

The Squier stuff has been ace for some time now.
I'm kind of glad they all came out after I'd stopped buying loads of guitars, because I wouldn't be able to help myself with some of these.

DO IT. YOU WONT.

I prefer a matt finish, it helps with the chocolate fingers.

The Cribs have been one of my favourite bands of the last few years, have seen them live loads of times. I'm a big fan of Jarman's playing – he's bloody good – but his live guitar tone doesn't do that much for me. I find it overly bright and harsh, with a needlessly high amount of gain.

Like:
Colour
Matching headstock
Shape
24" scale
Jag neck pickup
Vintage frets
Vintage tuners
Non-ugly headstock truss rod access
Proper Fender trem (USA, judging by the string spacing)

Shite:
'High output' humbucker
AoM bridge
Phase switching on both sliders? It's only needed on one of them, for instance the neck. The humbucker slider could then have been used for splitting it or something.

Won't buy.

V Nice.

Love the bass too. 32" scale length apparently.

To be fair this is how Mustangs/Jag-Stangs are, it was clearly a half-hearted "just give it Mustang switching" type thing.
