I wanna say the epi jr is a '98 or '99, I'll check the serial # later to be sure. They turn up on ebay every now and again, and usually for pretty cheap. I saw three red ones go for under $200 in the months leading up to me buying the yellow one for $190 (and this was only maybe 6 months ago). It's got some chips in it and the tone pot is dead in any position other than full on, but it sounds and plays fantastic! Especially for under $200.

Ah, ok. I'm not sure, as I haven't played one. But if I stumble across one in a store somewhere I'll play it for a bit and let you know =)

What colour is that strat? A very dark blue or is it black?

It doesn't happen to be part of the International series does it?

I think its a really bad refin job, the paint is cracking on the sides. It probably is one of International series strats it was around 1981 they were doing those.

If it's not a refin and it was international, that would make it 'cathode ebony' or something like that.

i'll take some better picture tomorrow, if you like?

Unless it was of under the pickguard and the neck pocket it wouldn't matter too much. As far as I'm aware though this international ebony is so close to black it would be near impossibe to tell. I'd sort of look a good clear shot for that colour chart, but if it's a refin it obviously wouldn't matter.

Everything electric, sans sunburst Jagmaster with the SX neck. It doesn't get played.

fender paint in this time period is known to do this. i doubt its a re-fin. if you do a little research on the Fender Lead series guitars of the time period most of them have the same cracklez
