Fucksake, i wish we got a 'sale' in the UK. Instead of walking into a shop then waking up two hours later in a daze with an empty wallet and a used condom hanging out of your arsehole.
hahaha

Even funnier when you read it in Fran's voice.

I was kind of hoping the arrival of these would mean you could pick up a VM HH model dirt cheap but nothing of the sort yet. As for new there is only about £15 difference in the price

They are exceptionally good, i agree with gusman on that. NickD and Lorez seemed to be impressed too.

+1

If you're after a small guitar get a Mustang.

Jaguars are the biggest Fender guitar, they must be pretty near to a bass in size.

Damn straight, I am very impressed with it, it sounds good, pleays well with a really nice neck, and although they are more P90 than trad Jazzmaster, I like the pickups.

I also think the gold guard looks great, and the TOM bridge works really well, even with some trem abuse.

The only failing is the bloody trem arm, but that is no different from the Japanese trems.

48 year old vintage JM - trem arm is perfect, stays where you want and never falls out

6 year old Jap JM trem and new squier trem - arm falls out.

Why change what worked?

The JMJM arm stays in if you press until it clicks.

at their widest point, they're just a bit thinner than a jazz bass. I've used jazz base cases for my jazzmaster/jaguars I've had in the past.

Both. I'm 5'9" and a Jag still looks pretty big on me. I think I saw a comment somewhere saying the girl in the video is like 5' or 5'1". Even the Mustang looks big on her.
