How's the HM-2? Marshall-ish? I want to build up a collection of cheap dirt boxes. Do you have a band?

its pretty awesome and fuzzy, its not really proper marshall distortion, it sounds much more solid state and has more fuzz/sustain or whatever. yesterday the bettery that i had in it was dying and it sounded sick (in a good way), it was twice as loud(no idea why) and at some point it sounded like a weird fuzz/phaser, i really liked the sound though. i got the pedal for 5 bucks

no band yet

I want go get one because of Swervedriver and stuff. But I just lost my job, so no money for that now. First new amp. And then a Fuzz Factory.

hmm it can do swervedriver pretty well, but it sounds more like swervedriver live than swervedriver on the record; i see it as them having a really bright and gentle yet distorted and loud sound on the record but from live clips i see it as a much rawer sound which kind of sounds like the hm-2.

no pictures yet but:
Guitars:
Jaguar HH
Telecaster Custom

Marshall Bi Chorus 200 head
Fender 2X12 cab

Pedals:
Crybaby(neon pink)
Whammy 4
Grunge Distortion

my band uses a sampled drum machine for our drums so i use reason to produce the tracks then a Roland SP808EX to play them back live.
