Dude, basically
any tremolo pedal can get those sounds. Once Fran's Vibratrem gets here, I'll do a simple demo for ya- I used to own one, Marshall pedals are pretty damn reasonable pricewise over here, have decent bypass and are well made, can't say that for EH. Although I think the rate gets reeeeally fast on the Pulsar, should you want some almost ring-mod stuff going on. But the Vibratrem has tremolo and vibrato

yeah, for some reason i keep going on about that sound, just in a smiths mode at the momment lol
i used to have the marshall regenerator pedal, that was quite good. i've tried a vibra trem once, i was put off slighly by the mains hum from it, when switched on, but that could be the power supply it was on.
just ordered a diago supply, getting rid of that electric shock nightmare that is the maplin supply. i think mines faulty, i touch the casing of it and had my hand on my guitar at the same time, BANG! OUCH! WHAT THE F*&(!.

+1 Marshall pedals RULE.
I love the BB-2 and the GV-2. The JH-1 is great in Overdrive mode too.

there; the board sucks though, ignore it.
I would tooooootally switch those around so the Blue box was 2nd ofter the rat maybe, and the delay was 2nd to last. But thts just me

+1 trems is trems except trems that dont go fast enoough or slow enough. And then there are trems with expression pedal jacks that let you send the LFO out as audio.

new box ?!
aen, know your great destroyer hates holy grails ? lol really, with the normal fuzz it's just fuzz going through reverb but anything more extreme (like the precussive/beat like blob blobs) you can hear it, but very silent, then i turn off the holy grail and thump thump it's back
then again, when it starts to scream and you put thAt through the holy grail maxed out it's ...scary
gandalf, i'm also a fan of delays at the beginning of the chain, my blue box sits in front of the big muff but placing it after a distortion might be cool (don't have a distortion pedal)

Dano '59 re-issue / Yamaha Pacifica ->
-> Peavey Classic 30
I also use a Dano trem and chorus and the Behringer DD400 but I don't really use those kind of effects very often.

dam nice little board that is. whats you view on the bbe pedals? i quite like the look if them, plus they seem quite resonable price wise.
is your 59 dano, the recent ones released last year? dam fine guitars.

Yeah, mine is a 2007 one. I ordered it on GAK who never got it in, but I by chance found it in Wunjo in London and bought it there, cancelling the GAK order.
I got the BBE because I wanted a TS9 type pedal but the Ibanez ones are hilariously overpriced, even the plastic one over here; the BBE was about half the price of the reissue (from ebay though). I've basically used it constantly (not constantly on though) ever since I got it. I use it on max volume as a boost to the C30s dirty channel (or cranked clean channel) and use the gain and tone controls to modify the sound slightly, it has a sort of 'treble' (mid) boost function on my board. The battery compartment is much nicer to get to than most other pedals I've seen too.
As for other pedals, I want to try
this when it's out. I haven't used any others though, but they look worth a try.

snap, i have a 2007 as well. i saw it in the guitar shop in my town and brought it there and then. amazing guitars. danelectro have this habit of re-releasing very short runs of great guitars and people all want one. mines the black colour, though to be honest i really wanted the green one.
might have to try a bbe, i'm in a pickle tone wise at the moment. i like my amp's sound alot, and in an ideal world i'd use that and a delay pedal in the fx loop. but i dont like having to run more cables to and from the amp to do that. so i use my delay in the front end, which is ok on clean settings, but with dirty settings it gets muddy and i distort the repeats.
i normally use a blues driver to solve this probably, using dirt pedals instead of the dirt channel on the amp. but the blues driver is missing something that i think the bbe might sort out.
