i can come up with a rendering on Solidworks. What type of bridge, pickups, and knobs do you want?

Since it's retro styling, I'm feeling some chrome would look cool.

Well, nut to bridge is 24 inches. You could work it out from there I guess?

I think this guitar is brilliant, and I hope you're still making them when I'm ready for my next guitar.

Yes.

Where are you thinking about putting the pickup selector? On the lower horn? Top? I actually think just to the left of the controls would be cool. You know diagnol to the middle of the controls.

I don't know yet...I really don't want to kill the look of that amazing pickguard by adding a 3-way to the lower horn...and putting it behind the tone knob is an option...I dunno...

2. W/B/W pickguard?

3. Orrrrrrrrr....parchment?

Telepathy?

And a white pickguard. Or maybe WBW. I think white would work the best.

What I REALLY want is pg material that is 1/4" thick for a really nice round-over...

The search begins...

That is a brilliant idea. That reminds me of the Hagstrom I had.

Speaking if which--one feature consideration for the suggestion box is the idea that like the Hag or Melody Maker you can lift out the guts without breaking a solder. I don't know if there is anything to be gained by that or not. It could be done with your design depending on how the knobs are tied in.

I wholeheartedly agree. the channel for the two knobs and input jack will be able to pass the same. I hate doing all the wiring on the actual guitar...

Hey Aug

I'm loving your design. Look forward to seeing more. The price is definitely affordable for a custom guitar made by hand. I really have to hold back for now though, cos I've gotta finish paying the installments for something else first! ;)
