I've just seen the schematic of the Fulltone Ultimate Octave, and I have to say - Kim - you have golden ears. That actually is also a clone of the original pedal Hurb wanted cloned and modified. GOLD STAR.

Fucks sake mike, That looks the dogs ball bags! seriously so much awesome ! You came through on everything I asked visually so I can't wait to hear the badboy!
For those that wanna know. this is a clone of the fox tone machine. I fell in love with the sound of that pedal when I saw it on the fuzz dvd. now there is no point in buying and Og if I could find one, and if I was gonna go for the the reissue I might aswell go for a clone. the cheapest being the danelectro. now the dano sounds greaaaat...but the switch sucks imo for my big feet. it also has no led(an easy fix but I tried and it didnt work:( ) also there was a slight volume issue and I would of preferred a better eq.
now there jumps mike making pedals all of a sudden !!! so I asked and look wha happpenz
I am practically giddy waiting for the pedal mike, although I have some bad news...I just cranked up the fender deluxe through the 2x12 and I am loving it... so the orange TT is sitting in a huff. so yeah thats what I will trying it through first!
I can pay through paypal now, or if you want monies direct into your bank account in Ghana you will have to wait till I speaketh to my moms as she is the only one with online bank steez.
THANK YOU PLEASE!!!!!!!!

No worries dude, it was a pleasure to make it for you but SHEEESH, it was some work. As you can see, it's pretty tight in there, but if you're not happy with the volume still I can take it back off you whenever and built a SuperHardOn into the back end in place of the Volume knob to give you more power. It's about the same as clean sound in nonoctave mode and the octave mode is louder.
My Ghana bank account would be best as Paypal will rape me for fees. I'll pm you the details now.

No worries mate. I shall sort the monies hopefully this weekend, monday latest.
If there is more volume needed, I shall be bringing it to doogfest, so you can take it home with you there(I wouldn't want you working hard on the pedal then when you could be rawking/drinking) and sort it.
cheers mate!

No worries, just want you to be happy with it, buddy. Make sure you play with the Bass and Treble controls, they're very interactive. If you dime the treble though it takes the bass out of the circuit for super-crazy-shrill-broken-radio-tonez like I did on the video demo. They're a pretty good fit for the pedal I think.

Nice to know that this is, in a tiny way, my fault.

Thanks guys.
All because the lady loves, ..
erm.... Preparation H..
This was a real proper project I was charged with. I had no supporting material other than the schematic. The filters I inserted was my work, also the tweaking I did to up the volume as much as possible in non-octave mode, plus the stripboard layout, which I spent a whole day at work when I should have been working, doing instead. I've been having DREAMS about this fucking pedal, it's been a real labour of love.

Bit knackered tonight and just chilling with a few beers and watching some telly, it's your call - I can either send it first thing tomorrow and do no demo or do a demo video and send it on Monday - up to you mate?
As for the pedal, I just played with it for 10 minutes and I'm confident you're going to like it as is. If you start with both tone controls on zero you get the raw unbridled sound of the pedal which is louder than the original design and a nice step above a clean sound. You can dial in more bass without detrement to the volume with the Bass control. The Treble control can be used to add extra bite but at the detriment of the overall volume, at extreme settings. You're a tweaker so I know you'll figure it out, I'm pretty happy with it to be honest, it maintains all teh character and joyous fruit of the original design but it's more flexible.
The octave is a nice hike in volume regardless of what you're doing.
