I think it might become mine too, I just did a single transistor fuzz ( just a hot rodded LPB, actually) for my duosonic today and it sounds fucking immense.
Yeah, it's perfect for stuff like that isn't it? Sort of high gain and squelchy when you overdrive it.

These cases are painted and lacquered and curing in the back garden in the British Sun.

That's a beautiful red.
If you think of god as a pair of pants, a spiritualist thinks he needs pants, in fact he wants pants but none of the conventional types of pants seem to fit just right, so he makes his own pants and is happy that his knees are no longer cold.-fibus

I thought so. Sadly the one of the best parts of my life at the moment is going to Halfords to buy paints. I fucking love it.

Yea, I know how that is. I love being at a Montana store.

Looking good. Are you going to start adding decals at all? Even if it's just a simple 'volume' 'tone' type of thing with no names on the pedals still.

I quite like the bare look, but the some of these pedals have quite a lot going on.

I wouldn't know how to make decals. If anyone can help me with that I'll definitely put them on.

The rub-on transfers route is a no go since the sizes don't come down lower than '24.

This is the definition of the most complicated thing you can get into a Hammond B Box.

There's another small circuit board to go in also. I had to lay this pedal out exactly to fit. Going to be tight. If I achieve it I will do a dance.

Mike, you're getting very good at this very quickly - you could be our James Harries-style prodigy.

I'm just building though, really, design is the really hard stuff.

It worked first time. Most complicated thing I've ever done by far.

If I said it's a JTM45 style Marshall overdrive and a MOSFET based boost in one box, would you know what that contains? Other than Rock I mean.

Possibly?

This is Astro's Bass Fuzz which is now done. The orange and orange looks great I think. He has impeccible taste!

*nose/finger/pointy*

Gotcha. Depending on my current auction success, I may be on at you soon to make a:

a) Dumbo with pubes
b) fantastic erection
c) *some clever double entendre for a Zvex Machine*
d) Mosrite Fuzzrite

(or some, all or none of the above). Waddaya reckon?

Dumbo with Pubes would be like a Fuzzy PreHistoric Elephant, yes?

If so I have made one of them already with success - Astro has bought it.
Fantastic Erections are my bread and butter.

The Machine I have a schematic for. Very doable.

Fuzzrite I know nothing about, will have to do some research.

I have the Fuzzrite schematic now. It's very simple.

So all of them are doable. Shoot me a PM when you want to make a start on something.

I've got a mosrite schem somewhere, will bung it across (and a Maestro fuzztone, now I come to think of it). Also, have got a very nice vero layout for a fulltone fuzzface, I'll bung that over too (but might try and do that one myself). And yes, a prehistoric elephant.

I'm massively interested in a Machine, though - quote me happy when you've got a spare minute, if you would. No hurry though, especially since Euan's completely undercut me in the eBay TT market.
