haha.. it's definitely a carry like a Briefcase or as a bag type deal, it weighs like 15kgs! It's the transformers with lead cores and the metal case, it all adds up.

I suppose that 'carry like a briefcase' is still better than the 'carry like a planet for the rest of eternity' Atlas feeling that you get lugging a Marshall up a flight of stairs.
One of the things I really like about the Champion 600 is that I can carry my setup around with me. Guitar in one hand, amp in the other. Also, I can bring it to a gig even if there already is an amp there, ask the sound man if he fancies mic'ing it, and then leave it in the corner if he doesn't. There's nothing invested, like.

I checked them too, sounds pretty sweet.
I also found
THIS EBAY LISTING and it mentioned this in it:
"ALL BLACKSTAR GEAR GOES UP BY AROUND 25% AT THE END OF JAN SO GRAB A BARGAIN NOW AT THE CURRENT PRICE"
Now i don't know how true that is and how much it is just a marketing tool.
Saying that though if these things are selling the way they say they are then why make a statement like that to sell them?
Just a heads up anyway.

Could be true, Fender's price hike is on Feb 1st. Everyone is doing it - economy is fucked.
25% on the stack would take it up to £436 from £349, which actually might help me not buy it.

I can't find any mention of it anywhere else though. I really don't want to go into debt to buy an amp but if it saves me €100 i might have to.

Yeah I think it is because bonus month is "meant to be" two pays after the quarter ends.
I saw meant to be because some bullshit will happen and it won't come or something.
Rage.
Probably should buy some strings then.

This is shit. This summer will be the first time in years that I''ll be able to earn money, and it doesn't make sense to buy anything.

Although they don't have stock at the moment, you can preoder I think, and machine does it for £341. give them a call if you're into it.

Yeah. Is a tough one... I do want one, but didn't want to buy one right now, but don't want to be paying the higher price...dilemmas dilemmas....

Personally I'm just going to leave it. I'm kind of over buying things on a whim (or I should be).
I should be saving for days ahead, I get that itch when I have an amount saved and think "Ooh I could buy this or that", but I need to be building savings, not spending them.
I'm sure you're in a much better situation than me financially anyway though, I don't have a lot of savings and need to rectify that, I'm nearly 28.

I know what you mean. I'd sell the TT, so that would cover it I guess as I'd just go for the head...just need to decide.
