Hi all,
Just joined after lurking and hope I can contribute here. I believe my Coronado is Sonic Blue, like the bass neck earlier in the thread. The wide shot may be a little darker than it really is. Not sure if I understand the correct way to post photos though. Here goes.

That Coronado is incredible. I love the really blue spot where the pickguard used to sit.

I appreciate the welcome, since I also get yawns from some when I tell them about it.
The one photo of the back shows the clearcoat that is worn away to show the true sonic blue.
Anything else I can offer please ask.

Nah dude I love the bursts Coronados have, and yours is one of the nicer ones.
rfu1 welcome to the boards, looks like you have a great taste in guitars...I've never even seen a sonic blue coro before nor did I know they existed.

I think that might be Ice Blue Metallic rather than Sonic Blue. Whichever colour it is it's fantastic.

Thanks James
I found a 65 jaguar that is ice blue metallic on the web and it is close. I was never sure on the color so I will be sure to find a Fender nut near me who can see it in person and decide.

If it's metallic the undercoat should be a big giveaway. It'll have a layer of gold or silver underneath the blue.
