you can't say that without playing the new Meloday Makers. I used to have one of the les paul melody makers with a single coil and that guitar was the shit. It out played EVERYTHING I've had by Rondo by miles. I love rondo's stuff but I think they all need some basic stuff done to them to make them anything better than a guitar to learn on.

The Melody Maker was perfect from the moment I touched. The quality control on the Melody Makers probably isn't going to be too great but it's going to be better than the Rondo stuff.

also, that yellow is hideous.

I want to play one. Specifically the explorer in blue and the SG in white. I would totally buy one of these and refinish it in Pelham or something.

I like the LP in white. When they made the two pickup MMs, I ordered one from Guitar Center... but Gibson discontinued them before my order was filled. Jerks.

I saw the MF email today, and the blue flying v and explorer both oddly look really awesome to me! If I found one for like $300 on craigslist and I had the spare cash I might consider it.

and for the anti-Gibson peeps GFS has there LP Jr & LP Specials on mega blow out...like $130 in their Clearence section cuz of finish flaws... $130 and has GFS PU's....not a bad deal
