The Guitar Center in Reno is awful.

Bizarre Guitar and Guns

i went into a small local shop in Louisville Kentucky over the weekend with TONS of fucking fenders n shit. real chill place, you could pick up and play anything...from the 299 squier jaguar to the 14,500 transition 1965 strat (shit it was so good)


anyways as im leaving i notice this huge ass pile of random company catalogs that they got spread out on this bench for free. i ask this super old dude at the counter if fender ever came out with a Frontline for 2011 yet. he says nooo they want us to direct them to the "website" i pick up on his sarcasm and say "because the website is about as fucking rad as thier meuseum right" he says "haha that shithole is better than the website ha ha ha fuck what is wrong with the people that run that company" at this point i realize FUCK THIS IS ROBROE in 40 YEARS !!!! i sat there and talked the guys ear off for another 30 or 40 minutes as my bro's left me in there and went exploring the streets and shops outside.


that fucking dude rules dude from a shop i don't remember the name to. you fucking rule. small shops with diverse quality shit will always win for me, but if you got all that pluss grizzled old dudes in there on the same wavelength as the customer, its like HOLY SHIT MIND MELT.

I have to say, I have no experince with guitar centre either way but I recently discovered they ship to Ireland, even the used and vintage stuff.

This thread started out badly, was just about salvaged and then went shit again.
