Are you primarily a 12 string player these days George, you seem to have put in some serious effort into getting your sound - and you've definitely been the most informative person to answer my questions.

i guess i would say primarily or at least 50/50. there's just something about how well they work for alt tunings and fingerpicking that has me smitten at the moment.
definitely happy to help. like i've said before, i think most people have difficulty or get put off them because of things like heavy string gauges and poor intonation etc. i think given a nudge in the right direction, a lot of people would really enjoy them
and fwiw, i think you made the right choice with the ernie ball set. in a hilarious double u turn i think i'm going to avoid the flatwound sets for a while
