Thanks. This one sounds ballsy. The pickups are from a Dano 59 DC reissue. The neck is a little fatter than the 1448.

Masonite is hardboard with one smooth side. The other side looks dotted, like you see inside a cavity in a Danelectro. Other kinds have two smooth sides. Names are regularly mixed, I think all kinds are often Masonite in the US, and hardboard in the UK.

man that looks really great. I think the soapbar adds even more character or something like a backstory to the guitar

Thanks! Yeah, I really like the p90 bridge too. Makes it more of a workhorse guitar which I dig.
