Music Man are bringing out a Sterling version of the St Vincent signature guitar:

Image
In addition to Music Man’s announcement of 4 new colours for their revolutionary St. Vincent series of guitars, sister company Sterling by Music Man have announced the introduction of their own Sterling St. Vincent.

Information on the release is limited at the moment, but this is undeniably excellent news for the loads of guitar players who love the idea of the St. Vincent signature model, but not the price point.

The Sterling St. Vincent promises the offer of an affordable alternative. Some features have been altered; the solid rosewood neck is replaced with a rosewood board and maple neck, the bridge and trem system looks to be slightly different, and the new model will be available in St. Vincent blue and black; both colours originally available on the first 2016 incarnation of the Music Man St. Vincent.

What is clear is that this guitar will be available before the end of January, and is likely to blow an awful lot of people’s socks off!
Info from GAK
I'm tired and it's early as hell, but I'm not seeing the price. What's the Cost on the Sterling?

Thanks,
Disciple of Pain

Heres an interview with her showing some moves to a guy.
So her signature guitar is shaped like a boxxy girl dress, complementing their boobs and bottoms and it feels more comfortable for women to play.
She's pretty hot and seems pretty cool too and has a creative touch in her stuff. I know she's either lesbian or bi? I know she was dating that model Cara De-something.
I'd play it to see how it sounds, it's an interesting design. Has a vintage 50's car feel to it. Unless it sounds amazing or has a unique tone, I'd rather spend it on something else. Especially at the price, it's being sold at.

I changed my opinion about her. She is a great musician and seems to be a great person. I'm still not very into her music, but I'm starting to understand it

My mistake! My dad can be a bit of a relic, but even he'd draw the line at peddling lame sexist shit like that.

So, saying that a woman looks hot is now sexist?!

Put the shoe on the other foot. In a conversation about a (male) profound musician and their guitar would you expect to hear that they must have designed their guitar to compliment their dick or pecs? Or bring up their physical attractiveness and speculate on their sexual orientaton for no reason?

Double standards and that.

Aye, I was just trolling son. I was actually not trying to poke fun at her but on an unrelated topic of the whole gender issue theme of tumblr. I'm sure many of tumblr girls got triggered about the gender qualities of the guitar. Which is just silly but I know people that are like this sadly.
In all honesty, I think she's a uniquely talented musician and I can respect that. I've only heard a few songs of hers and so far not my cup of tea but maybe if I listened to more of her stuff I might like it.
And yea I think she is attractive. In a male dominated instrumental culture, it's not often to find a pretty girl being part of it and to add on creativity and talent that's just icing on the cake.

A friend of mine is in a band with the lead singer being female who also plays guitar and they are both dating. She's a terrific singer and decent guitar player. She's also jaw dropping gorgeous 10/10
Here's her and her boyfriend is the one playing guitar.

Men have been designing guitars for their "needs" for years.
