Depends, I mean I like it...but I can only really use it for noise stuff like in the video, otherwise the effect is rather corny(filters are just corny to my ears), if used how it should be used. if you dig.

Yeah it sounded really good! Every time you clicked it on I did a Cheerleader Whoop, and everytime you clicked it off a bit of me died.

haha!! Dude I am such a reverse snob I never thought I would need a boost...but when you made one I thought get one for the shortscale/mike mojo....and it's lucky I did because I love it!!

You would cringe at the rehouse its so tight and messy its a wonder it still works!

cheers kim just a bit of a improve mess around....its basically how all my practice goes, I play a bit then just fck with the pedals till I get sick or I get told to knock it off!

Nah, I would probably make it equally messy. I've learnt so much doing these boosters about wiring and planning and stuff, at first I was rubbish.

I'm cooking up an idea with a 3-band EQ and Gain and Master knobs, so 5 pots compared with 1, it's going to be messy as shit unless I get some cable ties or whatever.

Heatshrink. Though I guess that is only cool if you know exact lengths of cable.

Stupid idea as always, euan.

Nah its a clever idea. You just use it as tubing and you don't need to shrink it. Just find the right diameter stuff and put it on.

Cable ties are cheaper, easier and simpler to adjust.

Only easier to adjust if you use reusable ones which are large and expensive.

Anyway. I'm off to see Malkmus.

Wrong again. By adjust I mean slide up and down teh cables they're tying, can't do that with shrink wrap. If you need them off you just snip and start again. I'm going to pick up a bundle of small ones.

Heatshrink would end up being really expensive and a massive pain to work with.

I was thinking about this the other day, too. I have sort of a schematic in my head - just a basic Fender-style tone stack followed by a gain recovery stage and then some sort of clipping nonsense in the vein of a tubescreamer. If you come up with a schematic, post a picture.

http://runoffgroove.com/umble.html - here's three bands with gain; looks pretty straight-forward.

That's pretty much what I want in an amp.
