Unfortunately, no shortscales yet in my collection... they're just what I lust for I'm a bassist, not a guitarist, but I do enjoy guitar as well.

How do you like the Aerodyne Jazz? I played a couple and they didn't quite do it for me, but it felt like with a little setup and a change of strings it would be pretty good. It felt something like the neck wasn't 'solid' enough. It didn't feel like it was going to snap or anything, just a bit lacking in power or something. Difficult to describe but both basses felt the same.

I love it. I find the neck pretty stable, but it is a light bass (basswood body), so that my contribute to it feeling less solid, perhaps? I find the neck nice and fast and it feels nice in the hand. I use DR Black beauties 45-105 and keep it well set up (to the best of my ability). I do find that I end up having to give the neck adjustments in the spring and early winter, though... it does flex a bit more than my Yamaha BBN5.

I plan on changing out the pickups with Seymour Duncan Vintage P and Hot Jazz pups, and the bridge to a Badass II.

Yeah, while it doesn't compare to my Telecaster, it does hold up well to a lot of other Fenders that I've played at nearly double the price point. This was my first 6-string guitar purchase Love the quality of the woods at a low price. Godin are fantastic instruments.

The EB3 is a HUGE salvage job. routed out for lefty, Rick bridge, defretted... i worked with a buddy- we cut pieces of mahogany and inserted them into the body, veneered over, refinned with nitro. the old machines were baked- put on schallers. but i haven't poney'ed up yet to pay a luthier to refret. ha! and i didn't pay $$$ for an original mediocre bridge- i put on a Schaller roller.

yes, the Coro has a temporary Jazzmaster neck while i'm working on its USACG neck.

Here is the Avril Telecaster i got brand new from Mickie for $100. Bad camera + shit lighting = these crappy pics.

I had to route the body for a neck pickup, which is a GFS vintage Alnico noiseless.
Pearloid pickguard from a mexican Tele, set-up with 11 guage strings.

Changed the bridge pickup to a Duncan Invader (only full sized humbucker i had laying around)
Added a tone pot with an Sprague orange drop

Added a vintage style Telecaster decal

You try that cap mod Fran used on his Jagstang.
They're known for being notoriously muddy sounding guitars and this mod seemed to brighten things up. I don't think he changed the pots.
