While it's a lovely guitar and Super-Sonics are well loved here, just a quick warning that here the colour is affectionately called 'scumbag silver sparkle' or something close to that, maybe it's just scumbag sparkle.

The super-sonics are my favourite vista series guitar and that's certainly a pretty nice one you have there.

Mike those are two of the nicest Shortscales I have ever seen. You are a lucky man. I was sad when you sold you 65 RI Mustang, but that Competition Stang more than makes up for it. You have given up some nice guitars in the past, but I think your current lineup is quite worth it. Do you still have your Duo-Sonic? I have not see you play it recently. I am going to photoshop and use some of the headstock shots for my computer desktop.

Yup, it's at my folks with the GoldTop I bougvht from Proggie. They're the guitars I use with Sell Crazy if I'm not driving across (sometimes I cycle to work and cadge a lift around to rehearsal). I build the Duo Sonic with my old man and I'll never part with it. It needs new strings and some love though. Maybe I'll use it this week.

I do feel lucky, especially considering I'm not a great guitarist. Still, I worked fucking hard to earn the money for these and have also sold a bunch of stuff in the past to fund them.

It is a truly brilliant set you have Mike. Stunning, stunning guitars.

Just finished going through the thread. Lost of lovely guitars in here. I'm gassing for a Mustang in the worst way, but I think I'm going to pick up a Classic Vibe Duo in the next couple of months. Although, I could spend a little more and get a '64 Music Master.

Dangerously radioactive, mind, that non-yellowing stuff.

So is your Jag behaving itself now? Is Hurb truly 'The Trem Whisperer'?

I typed a detailed reply to this and opera fucking mini has just erased it. Short answer: yes.

The only question is why Mike and Stewart aren't posing in their tighty wighties on the bed next to those beauties. I'm thinking like this:

Seriously i think we could have a shortscale lingerie calander made for next year involving pants and guitars. Maybe just use the photos from the NSFW thread!

Here's some pics of my gearrrr to lok like i'm actually contributing to this thread:

I'd be scared of fucking it up with my lack of grace and heavy handedness.

hah true enough.

If I eventually move to Edinburgh it's going to be even more weird. Especially when I crowbar my way into Black International.

It's harder than Hulk Hogan - NO TRUSS ROD! Really thick 'V' neck, but small in scale and nut width.

Do it, then i won't have to play guitar. I actually had to check the laundry basket when you posted those pics a couple of weeks back, we have some extremely similar bedsheets. Not exactly the same though, thankfully.
