Should hopefully be quite soon - getting it from Reidy's as they had the quickest ETA - said they have got 16 coming in within a week or so and one has my name on it!

They took, like three or four weeks to get me my Valve Junior, but it was bought at the same time as a Squier '51, which may have contributed to the delay.

They're actually incredibly fast when they're in stock. JVMs are backordered all the way back to Marshall. There are only 50 in Europe at the moment apparently, they're ramping up production now.

When Reidy's knew of the delivery date for their shipment they called me and then it was mine the next day. Thom have you replied to the confirmation email asking to be called when the amp comes in?

I think they're an excellent company. Got my telecaster deluxe from them too.

Yeah I did - I'll do the same as you and work from home on delivery day.
I was impressed with their service - I exchanged a few mails with them before placing the order to see if all their next shipment had been allocated yet and I found them very helpful and quick at replying.

hey, asshole. get a better guitar. the only channel where i got loads of hyperphonic was od2, in the red, with shit tons of gain, the mids cranked, and me standing 2' in front of the speakers.

I think Andy is pretty happy with his current setup, he sure does get some great sounds out of his Strat/Jazz -> RAT2 -> Marshall clean channel setup. Let's hear a coupletones...

The only feedback and squeal I have had is purely musical. I loooove it. I have to go near the amp to get it at rehearsal... Loads of people have microphonic crappy pickups and don't realise it.

I won't won't stick up for it as a design- having two very differently voiced channels share one EQ is just plain retarted. HOWEVER, used as a single channel amp, its just dandy, and the fact I got it for less than half of the RRP.

I agree that they could make that thing a much better amp with three more fucking knobs, but you certainly live with it as is and get some great sounds.

he could add an eq to the pedal chain to make up for this blunder, but it would make switching between tones a bit more arsed.

hey, it's a marshall. doog's in teh club.

I loves my RAT plenty, much prefer it to the drive channel, no matter what EQ setting.

I'm in the club, but I'm pretty low on the pecking order

Besides, I like the Clean/Crunch channel juuuuuust fine.
