A cheap cool way to get the best out of a Non Master Volume amp at sensible volumes. Way cheaper than a hotplate etc

No problem guys, I'm thinking of giving it a go, experimenting with something like that and a small amp might yield good results.

Drive Amplifier really hard to get good tonez = very very loud = angry neighbours + tinitus

Drive Amplifier really hard + attenuator to convert lots of the energy into heat = good tonez and OK volumez.

I dunno.

Hot plate is similar to this (and fucking expensive considering it doesn't have switchable impedance. GAY!), the Powerbrake powers a fan when it gets hot too... all off the speaker output signal.

Isn't there a problem with attenuators where they are known to blow up your amp? If it wasnt for that i would build one in a heart beat.

Dammit, I wish I saw thought of doing that when I had my old amp. My old one channel head had such shitty tone at decent volumes :( .
