im gettin a classic players strat, which color shud i get??!?!

Sonic blue looks boring on strats, but anything is better than sunburst.

sadly sunburst and sonic are the only colors availible, but i can live with that i mean im not really that dependent on looks. And the neck on that baby is just the best thing ive played in a while, not to thin not to thick, the gloss on the back makes it perfect for anything, so versatile, and the pickups really sing, although i might replace the neck pickup, its a bit weak, the pickups are 69 cs's btw. and the guard is mint green, i know, a tad cliche for strats but its alright to me, and its only 800 bucks on a count of its a mexican but i havent played an american nearly as good as this baby

I am the sole voice of opposition. Sunburst with mint green gaurd is damn sexy. Hell, sunburst with anything is awesome. Its the color that attracted me to guitar in the first place.

+1 espically on strats. i also dig anodized gold guards on sunburst strats.

Sunburst is boring. especially on strats. buy one that is not sunburst, and then buy 3 that are sunburst and refinish them.

some sunbursts are ugly, like on a lot of epiphones, but i like fender sunbursts.

I actually like sunburst too despite the oppisition on this board. Not sure if I'm a fan of sonic blue on strats though.

I'd go for Sonic, but that's only because I'm getting tired of the above. I nonetheless somewhat like Fernandes' Ken(L'arc en Ciel) signature Love Driver for its 50s-ish maple neck addition + goldie(though the CAR one looks sexier in the same combo), almost as much as I dig the very intuitive 3-way switching with push/pull mid pickup on/off tone knob it features.

















As for my needless sunburst/anodized combo, I have been contemplating a Strat refin in British Racing Green...target sign stickers pending ...and keep the goldguard(+Robroe covers?), or just go glam and mega-flake Champagne Sparkle the thing.


Not so hot about pearloid, but this finish is the muttz nutz.

Very keen on Inca Silver on Strats too. Or Charcoal Frost. Mmmmm.
