You won't regret it.

UNLESS THE POSTMAN KILLS YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY WHEN HE COMES TO DELIVER IT!

But that would never happen.

As long as he delivers it when he's done. $50 was a steal.

that's the vintage rat, nice one, good price too, i think it's suposed to sound a bit more 'mellow' than the rat2 or summit... not sure.

Coolass. I've never tried one of the Vintage ones.. I'm guessing it's just a reissue that's closer to the original RAT than the others.

Original RAT ist crazy!

And the standard tone control.. makes me wonder why ProCo decided on the whole backwards "filter" tone control thing.

I think it was just a name change, the control has always worked the same.

The Rat
This was the first RAT pedal manufactured in large numbers. To give the RAT a unique look, a custom 20 gauge wrap-around enclosure was designed. The white RAT logo was silk-screened on black, painted metal. The "EQ" on this pedal is labeled Tone. The Tone control increased high frequencies when it was turned clockwise, the opposite of later models.

Weird. Yuo realise it's just a case of swapping the wires to the lugs anyway, you cuold reverse yours if you wanted...

Aye- it's a very subtle/simple change, just kinda makes you wonder why they did it.

Dunno really - to be different I guess? At least they're admitting all the tone control is is a low pass filter.

My 70's Maestro pedals say the same thing.
I do believe it is a 70's thing.

Not if it has a blue LED and transparent bass boost.

It's one of the vintagey reissues. If it's more mellow, then that's for the best. I'm using it for overdrive to distortion. I don't need it to get fuzzy.
