Budget DuoSonic Project

I started this one with a loaded Squier DuoSonic body I got off ebay for $50.00 and a Squier Mini Strat I bought in the scratch 'n' dent section from Music123 for $80.00. I ebayed the mini Strat body so I had $40.00 in the neck.

The body was pretty banged up once I got all the stickers off. I stripped the black, filled the dings and shot everything with BINs. I had an opaque can of Reranch Butterscotch Blonde that was for a project that I wound up having to sell awhile back after a late night buying spree on ebay.

I added new pickup covers, a set of tele knobs I had in the parts box and a vintage decal.

I shot the neck with tinted neck amber to give it more of a vintage look.

I layed it out to see what it would look like and I thought I'd throw a few pics up. I still need to buff everything out and I'm going to rewire it but I'm very pleased with the way it's turning out. All in all I have less than $150.00 in the whole project and that makes me a happy camper.
