Fecking Marshall

Every time I enquire, the response from Marshall is that there's a delay on my JVM delivery time as they struggle to cope with their backlog of orders.
Another 2 weeks apparently.
I understand that they can only be as quick as they can, so I'm not annoyed with them about that, but it's frustrating not getting a realistic estimate from them and having had the date change 4 times now.

That sucks dude - I can't believe how much they're struggling to turn these things out - the demand must be huge.
I hope that this really is 2 weeks and that you get it soon. You must be getting really fed up by now. Keep the faith and enjoy rocking the Orange, you're a lucky man - remember?

Haha yeah I'm not complaining really!
But you're right, the demand must be massive.
I truly hope it's 2 weeks as we're heading to the studio at the end of the month and I'd really like to have the opportunity to use it.

Yeah I was looking at those the other day!
Pricey little buggers though!

Serious engineering is involved though.

Another cab would be cool - but would do my head and back in for gigs!
That tonebone is £225...

Hundred cheaper, stereo cab. Not as cool as the Orange cab you've got though.

fucking hell.
Has your orange got stereo inputs? You could have a speaker for the JVM and one for the Rockerverb...

wow. it seems Orange cabs only have a single 1/4" mono input @ 16 ohms. That's terrible - for nearly £400 you should be able to run it stereo @ 8 ohms a side or mono @ 16 ohms.

Yeah that's pretty poor isn't it...

your pain is shared here. i was pretty annoyed at the fact that NOBODY in my region had them in stock except for mail order. i spent two weeks trying to just be in the same room with one of these amps and finally just took a bit of a chance. good news is i wasn't disappointed; you won't be either. hang in there!

It's the reviews that yourself and Mike have given that mean I still have hope!

Uh.. wouldn't that be a way bad idea for the amp?

What?
Two half stacks and the LS thing they make to switch between one/the other or both. What's the matter with that?

Ah right.. it looked like you meant using 2 cabs with one head and using the line selector so switch cabs.

Nah, I said two speaker cabs innit.
