i picked up a 67 vibro champ a few months back. it was all original, had to replace a few caps. i got a new 3 prong power suppply cord. it was on my 'to do' list. it should have been the first thing i did when i got it. i got lit up pretty good. im an electrician so ive had my share of current pass through my body, but this one had a hell of a bite!@ i replaced the cord yesterday. id rahter have a non orginal amp then my heart stoping.

i got hit by playin though the virbo champ and touching the stand-by switch of a newer (grounded) amp. i completed the circuit somehow between the ungrounded amp and the other amps ground path.

that hurts.
