I don't like any of those colors, but if I were forced to choose, I'd have to go with the midnight wine...

I voted Arctic White, however I reckon a black Tele with a black guard like Strummers looks great.....Mmmm maybe my next purchase.

they should offer some shade of green.

I have the Electron Blue, which I thought was called Midnight Blue, but I think I prefer white.

I voted for White aswell. It should have a Black pickguard though.

Didn't think you were a fan of 3 saddle bridges? What's with Baja?

I'm not to be honest - it would be replaced by a six saddle. It's not like I'm buying one, I'm just saving money at the moment.

Baja Player is an awesome Tele with a 4 way Selector for Bridge/ Bridge & Neck (parallel - normal) / Neck / Bridge & Neck (series - Humbucker chunky style) connections and a switch on the vol knob which out of phases the pickups in positions 2 and 4. it's also really well made and a complete snip at the price you can get them for - it's an amazing telecaster - Twisted Tele and Nocaster pickups as stock? Booyah!

how does the baja compare to the '52 reissue? i've played the 52 and it is really nice, but at $1300+, it's tough to justify buying. probably be more in the uk, too.
is it called the baja because it's made in baja california?

Dunno why, basically it's a Custom Shop designed guitar Made in Mexico. In my opinion it's the coolest Standardish tele out there.

Compared favourably to the '52 in the Latest guitarist magazine - the main differences being that you get graduated saddles with the '52 and a different more transparent nitro finish I think. Neither things would bother me as a consumer, and the price difference is insane.

basically the Baja Tele plays and sounds like a Tele twice or thrice it's price.

i wanna try one. of course, guitar centers around here have like 500 strats and 2 telecasters. but the one in hollywood might have it. i just hate going there, too many middle aged men with ponytails. but their vintage room is incredible (but you might gag from the prices!).

Yours is Midnight Blue, they didn't make Electron Blue when yours was made. It's pretty similar though.

My tele is midnight wine, though when i got it, it was a toss up between that and white.

Ah, Electron Blue does look a bit lighter, but it's hard to tell with that colour, it seems to change quite a bit in the light, loads of people have told me that they like my purple guitar

I'd go with white if you had to. I almost bought a white mex Tele a few years ago. It was a really nice guitar.

I saw the Baja Tele in Guitarist too and I really like the look and sound of it. If there was any Fender I'd like to be able to buy lefty at the moment, besides a Mustang bass, its that Baja.

Always have it in this lighting too. I like the sand. I also like the blue and wine. Black and burst are overdone.

The midnight wine might be nice if it didn't have the douchebag photographer's reflection all over it.

I think fender did a pretty good job making it look like red wine. It varies according to the light in the same sort of way as red wine does, and looks cool with maple.

It's not a colour I'd want on a strat or anything else fender, but I like it on my tele.
