If you don't talk me out of buying the 30 watt Valvetronix amp RIGHT NOW, I'm going to Sam Ash and buying it.

Buy a Tiny Terror.
The Valvetronix=best of the modeling amps, so why not.

Why would I talk you out of one? They're excellent and you will love it. Superb recording amp. Vox and Fender models are lush.
Check out the tones:

I've been pondering buying one for a long while now. I've listened to those two samples quite a few times.

They're cool amps - the reason I sold mine was that it wasn't all that great at keeping up with a live drummer, as a practise and recording tool I think they're amazing.

Are you on your way yet? I've just listened to my samples again and it's made ME want to go out and buy another. Get it sorted.

It's home now. It doesn't sond anywhere as kool as my bassman, but I'm still fiddling with it like Aug at a kiddie pool.

Mess with it on the manual setting so that you can just turn the knobs and stuff - you'll get the kind of rocktonez I was getting out of it in no time. I liked the Black 2x12", Tweed, AC15 and AC30 sounds the best

I like the Tweed 4x10, but it seems redundant to set it to that considering it's sitting on top of an actual 4x10 Bassman.

Doesn't it have some kind of powertube dynamics emulation thing? Use that. Word harder.

No, it's got a preamp tube in the power section to emulate powertube "sag".
Word moar harder.

Oh I forgot to say Shadow, dime the Master control and get the Volume pretty high too and control the sound level using the attenuator on the back.

Juices the power section to get the best possible sound - it's the way I got all those smokin' tones.
